My little Storm is gone 🙁

My pet rat Storm just passed away today. She had a tumor right under her hind leg. She had been sick for a while but I nursed her back to health and then I found the tumor.
She was such a beautiful rat, Himalayan with a white lightening bolt shape going down her nose. I don’t have any pictures because I lost them. She was such a sweet and smart animal.
She was walking around one minute and the next she was lying on her side, eyes wide open, motionless.
I couldn’t stop crying and then I found this website and just writing about her makes me feel better.
I decided to put her outside in he woods. She’s at peace now and is no longer in pain.
