Me and my rat

I moved back to the Uk after living in New Zealand since I was 3. I don’t want to come to England as I missed my pet dog that I had to leave behind. I was sad and home sick.
One weekend I went to stay with my grandad as he surprised me by taking me to the pet shop and bought me a pet rat!
I was so excited and I named my rat Bean. He is hooded rat and amazing! He has made me feel a lot happier about being in the UK. He is so sxcitied to see me when I get home from school and loves coming out of the cage to sit on my shoulder. I would be lost without him now x
